I have the black ember forge and I like it for 3 way carry but expanded feels like it juts out way to far from your back and I don't like the harness system. I also just bought the TP3 small and regular to see how it is. I'm also 5'6". The GR2 26L carries way way more than it seemingly lists at 26L. The osprey would be better for hiking, but neither really shine there. The Aer is more "digital nomad" imo with the organization capabilities. Both are solid, I'd go for the TP3 now or if you can wait to see the updated farpoint. If price is an issue, the current farpoint is a lot of bag for the money with one big flaw.
