Took it to San Diego when I was in the Navy, and traded it in on a 1911 reblued, and got $10.00 for the Sealed Eight in trade. The 1911 was priced at $39.00 at a big gunshop on National Avenue in National City. I want to recreate my youth, and found an excellent Sealed Eight, but it has the later plastic grips.
